Crestone 14er Hike

Kay and Eric atop Crestone Needle, Colorado. The rock is an incredible conglomerate, boulders formed of river and glacier tossed rounded rocks cemented together. We ran across a small amount of turquoise as well.

Andesite plus 6% Madrone ash, and fired in Eugene to cone 10 in 35
minutes, and dunked in water.
