Finding an iron red that does not run

Finding an iron red that does not run

I have wanted to get a good, deep iron red that does not run. Trying to
stay very basic with common materials, nothing fancy, nothing complicated.

This is the best that I have come up with.

I won't venture a formula, because it has unwashed oak ash that I have
never had analyzed. C7 down, C8 at 3:00. Electric with a programmed
slow cool.

Just learning to work with what I have.

much and this knowledge obscures the really significant facts, but I am
getting on." -- Charles Rennie Mackintosh

A wonderful show is up in Mashiko, at Yammani on the 2nd floor. I will put some more photos of Kamoda Shoji later. He is one of Mashiko's best kept secrets.

When Bayard Morgan saw this stone box at the Sankokan, he said he saw it previously in a slide show and said Nancy MacKenzie asked him if he could see where Randy Johnston was influnced in his stacking boxes.
