Shimaoka Banchawan

Shimaoka Banchawan, originally uploaded by claycraft.

Banchawan are for drinking coarse tea. They are shorter than yunomi,

looking like a small chawan/ricebowl.

Higashida Shigemasa's Hikidashi Setoguro and Shino Chawan. Marvellous!
