Inez Wedding Jar

I said that I would post some photos of the work of Inez, Cherokee
potter operating a gallery in Tulsa in the 1970's.

I have three images now. This first is a treatment of the wedding jar
form. The design is done with slips from various local Oklahoma clays.
The overall color/patina is the result of "waterproofing" the pot in
boiling water / pine pitch.
