Two of David Stannard's Alaskan porcelainstone bowls......., originally uploaded by claycraft.

The one on the left fired to cone 10 in an electric kiln, the one on
the right fired to cone 8 in reduction in a gas kiln. In both cases
the body is Silver Fox hydrothermally altered rhyolite 100%, and
glazed with the body with 15% Limestone added. the one on the right
is quite translucent, and both ring for a long time when struck.
